Debit Cards
Don’t worry whether they’ll accept your check – just present your Emprise Visa Debit Card instead! The amount of your purchase is electronically deducted from your checking account.
Take advantage of these great features:
- Personal Identity Theft Protection. Help for costs incurred due to an identity theft occurrence. Covered costs include: re-filing applications for loans, grants, notarizing affidavits or other similar documents, long distance telephone calls, and more.*
- Purchase Protection. Purchase security will repair, replace, or reimburse you for eligible items of personal property purchased entirely with your eligible Visa card, up to a maximum of $500 per claim and $50,000 per cardholder, in the event of theft, damage due to fire, vandalism, accidentally discharged water, or certain weather conditions.*
- Warranty Manager Service. Cardholders can register a product and extend a manufacturer’s warranty up to one additional year on eligible warranties of three years or less. You can purchase extended warranty protection on many products that provide valuable coverage beyond that already offered by Visa. This is a $10,000 coverage per product.
- 24-Hour Banking. Get cash, make transfers, or check your balance at any ATM that accepts Visa - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Zero Liability. You’re protected from unauthorized use of your card on Visa point-of-sale transactions that take place on the Visa system.
- Lost / Stolen Card Reporting. If your Visa is lost or stolen, assistance is only a phone call away! Simply call Emprise Bank Customer Service at (316) 383-4301 or toll-free at (800) 201-7118.
- Cardholder Inquiry Service. This service provides 24-hour, around-the-world customer support for general inquiries and product or service information.

Fraud Monitoring
Did you know your Emprise Debit Card has Fraud Monitoring built in? We want to help protect your account and thus we have fraud monitoring on every debit card. This service monitors activity on your debit card and will initiate a call to you if they notice suspicious activity (large dollar items, out of area purchase, etc.). If suspicious activity is detected on your account, you will receive an automated call on behalf of Emprise Bank, asking that you call them back at 800-327-8622 or 800-622-1361 (these are the only two numbers they would give you to call back). It is important that you call back quickly, so they can close your card if there is indeed fraudulent activity.
When you call them back, they will already have your card number and social security number. However, they may ask you to verify the last 4 numbers on your card, your address, or some other piece of identifying information. At that point, they will discuss the charges in question and you will be able to close your card immediately if necessary.
We understand it may seem strange to receive such a call, but it is for your protection. It is also good to regularly check your account activity online or at least view your statements as soon as you receive them. If fraudulent charges ever occur on your account, they must be disputed within 60 days of the statement they are listed on.
